WEAR

I’ve been sewing since a very early age. My mother is an accomplished textile maker and designer, so I started off early hand-sewing doll clothes and fir-needle sachets, before moving on to learning how to use a sewing machine. Here is a selection of relatively recent apparel and accessories I’ve designed and sewn. I’m recently more interested in learning how to design and make apparel straight from my sketchbook to a wearable item. One project I’m most proud of is my self-designed and made raw silk dupioni wedding dress. You can read more about individual projects in the blog under the “sewing design” tag. You can also see home decor sewing projects under the “Home + Garden” portfolio. Since I’m usually behind the lens, many of these photos are suboptimal selfies of my work – perhaps getting my collection photographed by someone else will be a next project!
