Just filled in my new raised bed and threw some microgreens and mesclun out there – we’ll see if it will grow in my shady SF back yard this time of year. Also planted rows of field peas all around the box, and if they sprout, I’ll be eating pea shoots soon enough and just having something to hold that nice newly raked soil in against weeds. My indoor flats are growing – literally before my eyes – the chard, mustard, chives and pac choi have all sprouted. The microgreens look like they’ll be ready to eat in about 5 more days! They are all slanting or leaning toward the paltry light coming from the clip on desk lamp with a flourescent bulb I’m using as a grow light (eek)
