6/13 – Radishes were Ravaged. By what? Who knows. But the soil around them was roiling with small black ants. ROILING. Unsure of what to do and wanting to eat the vegetables herein, I sprinkled a combination of cinnamon & cayenne pepper across the garden. And it worked! Two weeks later, the radishes had regrown their foliage and the plants were none the worse for the wear.
